NewPrinces Welcomes Plasmon and Other Historic Brands Through a Strategic Acquisition

We are pleased to announce that we have signed a binding agreement to acquire some of Italy’s most iconic brands in infant and specialised nutrition: Plasmon, Nipiol, Aproten, BiAglut and Dieterba. The transaction, with a total enterprise value of €120 million, is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025.
The acquisition also includes the integration of the Plasmon production facility in Latina, where over 1.8 billion biscuits are produced each year, alongside a wide range of infant products, including jarred foods, porridges, snacks, including pouch formats, and gluten-free products. The Latina site will complement the Ozzano Taro (PR) facility, acquired from Kraft Heinz in 2015, creating an integrated and coherent industrial strategy.
This is an acquisition that is not only strategic but also deeply symbolic. Plasmon, with over 120 years of history, has long been a benchmark of quality and trust for millions of Italian families. Alongside the other brands, it returns to Italian ownership after more than sixty years under the American Kraft Heinz group, recovering an important historical legacy.
“This acquisition is a source of great pride. Bringing iconic brands back to Italy realises a vision we have long pursued: to build an Italian multinational capable of revitalising historic brands, deeply rooted in our country’s identity.”
